Nathan’s father and uncle, Steve and Bill Abbott, followed their dream of developing and managing the Henderson Park Inn through Abbott Realty. The bed and breakfast is now recognized as one of the most romantic hotels in the country. Nathan and his wife, Erin, had a beach front wedding at Inn.

The Henderson Hotel is the first phase of the Henderson Beach Resort. Located beside Henderson Beach State Park, the hotel offers unobstructed view of the Gulf of Mexico and nature preserve. This 170 room luxury hotel will be a nationally recognized independent hotel resort and the only Five Diamond rated AAA property in the Florida Panhandle from New Orleans to Sarasota.
Salamander Hotels and Resorts, one of America’s top luxury hospitality brands, will manage the hotel bringing a level of service and luxury not currently available in the Destin area. The hotel features 5 room types: Gulf, Garden, Spa, Pool, Suites. One of the main features of the hotel and resort is the five star spa and salon services. The resort’s destination spa will feature 11 spacious treatment rooms, extensive amenities and a women’s locker room which opens onto a private relaxation terrace overlooking the preserve.

The Henderson Lofts are currently under construction inside of Henderson Beach Resort. The Lofts will be a single four-story luxury condominium project of 54 units with an underground parking deck. The Lofts will offer a variety of residential luxury condominiums including one bedroom / one bathroom, one bedroom / two bathroom, and two bedroom / two bathroom. Each unit will have a bunk bed nook. The design and architecture will mimic The Henderson Hotel’s mix of brick and shake on the exterior. Most units will overlook the Henderson Resort’s zero-entry pool, lazy river and pool deck.
The Lofts will be located on the southeast side of Henderson Resort, on the corner of Scenic Highway 98 and Matthew Boulevard in Destin, Florida.
